We've included popular envelope formats below. Other considerations include whether to have a address window, number of printed colours and material grammage - whether to opt for a paper based product or a stiffer board material.
Smaller Print Runs (From 100 to 1000)
We can print any size envelope you require. We will of course advise on the most cost effective stock sixes though both for printing and postage. Smaller print runs tend to be 'over printed.' This is where we take standard sizes of plain envelopes from stock and overprint up to 4 colours. These off the shelf envelopes are 115gsm and 130gsm matt coated. We can bleed 4 colours off 3 edges, giving almost full ink coverage (98%.) Overprinting is very cost effective and colourful printing method with the added benefit of a faster turnaround which can be as quick as 3 days. An affordable full colour printing method that will enhance the presentation of your mail.
Larger Print Runs
Larger print runs and bespoke formats are generally created from flat sheets. The envelopes are printed, folded and constructed in one process. This is the most cost effctive method of producing larger volumes of printed envelopes. Paper weights range from 80gsm to 170gsm. There are no size limitations and most types of paper and board can be used. We can also add extra impact to your mailing by adding multiple or unusual shaped windows.
