What is ukprintprice.com all about?

Our mission is to be the Uk's leading web site for pricing and supply printed products. We will do this by displaying a comprehensive range of cost-effective printed promotional products, by providing expert advice and by making our online process easy and enjoyable for all our customers.

 

How do I contact ukprintprice?

Our Head Office and Midlands Distribution Centre is based in Nottinghamshire. (Junction 29 of the M1.) You can either email us at sales@ukprintprice.com or better still - just call us. We always like to hear from our customers and we have a team of experienced Account Managers and Production experts on hand here to help you. Our office is open Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 5.00pm)

 

If I want to order something - How do I pay?

Payment is normally required (on approval of proofs) prior to printing. Returning clients are welcome to request an account with us. Payment may be made by credit or debit card online. If there is sufficient time in the schedule we also accept bank transfer or cheque. Local Government, State Schools and the NHS can normally obtain a credit account by request.

How do I place an order?

Once you have chosen your product, select the option based on the number of colours that make up your logo and artwork. Then add the quantity below ‘QTY’ and click the ‘BUY’ button. You will be directed to your Shopping Basket and Checkout process. The one off set up charge for creating printing plates will automatically be added to this payment page.  Enter your details as requested on the Checkout page and make payment. There is the option at the last stage to upload your artwork.  The sales team at ukprintprice will be immediately alerted of your purchase and any associated artwork upload and will contact you straight away to progress your order either via email or phone.

 

What is the screen setup charge for?

The screen setup charge is charged at cost and covers the standard industry charges for the set-up of specific equipment used to print your promotional goods. For instance:


Screen printing: a screen has to be manufactured for every colour used, in order to replicate your logo accurately.


Transfer printing: a transfer is digitally printed onto a clear sheet and then hand applied to your product.


Embroidery: computer programming is required to digitize your logo which then controls the stitching of your design onto the garment.


Laser engraving: a tooling charge for a computer map of your logo so that it can be etched into your product.


Foil blocking or embossing: a physical block or die has to be created in order to imprint or stamp your logo onto the product.

 

Do you have other products not shown on the website?

Our product range is frequently changing as we source new products for you. If you require a specific item not featured on our website please feel free to call us on 0844 8099 363 and we will endeavour to source it for you.

 

Can I have a sample of the product?

It is often a good idea to see and approve a plain sample before your order is finalised. We can send you a plain sample of your product at the lowest quantity rate. The cost of the sample will be refunded if it is returned in good condition or simply discounted off the main print run.

 

In what format should I supply my logo?

If you don't upload your artwork at the Checkout Page you can supply your logo in eps format to sales@ukprintprice.com. If you need help with the design or layout please contact us. We can also receive artwork files via our FTP site. MailBigFile or by disk. 

 

Will I receive the exact quantity I have ordered?

All orders with personalisation are subject to production tolerances of up to 10% over or under which will be invoiced accordingly.

 

How long will my order take to reach me?

Delivery times will vary depending on the product and some can be supplied in just a few days. If you have an urgent requirement please let us know and we will do our utmost to meet your required date. Please note that the delivery times advised to you by our sales team are based from the date the final artwork is approved by the customer.

 

How accurate will the colour of my logo be?

We will endeavour to match the pantone references or sample you supply for matching purposes. However, due to the differences in materials and printing techniques we cannot always guarantee that the colours will always match exactly.  Depending on the product and the size of the order, we can sometimes provide a one-off produced sample.

 

What is the imprint area?

The imprint area shown on the website is the recommended imprint area which has been used to price the item on the website. However, other imprint areas may be available and your logo can often be imprinted in more than one position on the product. Please let us know if you have a specific requirement and all options will be discussed with you once our sales team receive your initial order details.
